HoneyTalkNelson, who is Claudia Stabile? And how do you know about this woman's association with Jerry? And where do I know your name from? And I doubt there is any e-mail addresses for Jerry Lewis Films or else someone on here would have posted it a long time ago.

Claudia Stabile was married to Joe Stabile, Jerry's long-time manager. After Mr. Stabile's passing, Claudia took over some of his management duties.
You should best present your proposal in writing, with the assurance that you would only take a few minutes of Mr. Lewis' time. There's certainly no guarantee (especially with his health issues) but it's worth a try!

Yes, Claudia did re-marry. Joe was ailing with Parkinson's Disease for a very, very long time. He was an exceptionally nice man.

I am preparing for my big Al Jolson Convention in Philly in May, have alot of prep stuff as audio dir. and than I will be in the middle of my summer school stuff in July so I will be unable to go but I hope all goes the way you all want it to go. Financially, it's a stretch to even consider it - since if you add all of the expenses involved we're talking an easy $1100 for a weekend.

MGM has such a thing it's Brand New. It's like an apartment with a full kitchen with stove and dishwasher and refrig. coffee maker and internet: Plus all the amenites of the hotel even a VIP check in seperate from the main check in. It's like if you where a high roller but afforable

i go to vegas about four times a year since i live in los angeles
i've seen most of the sights and would prefer lunch, dinner or drinks
also you have to remember it's hot in vegas in july, sometimes over 100.

Annie~You are so sweet to offer it brings a tear to my eye, but I just can't accept. I know what a hard time you've had, and that makes your offer even more meaningful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It's not only finances that are keeping me from going, but that's a large part of it. I can't drive, and I don't think I could stand a flight. My husband would be willing for me to go, but I'm not sure he could, so I'll just have to bask in all of the reflected glory from the site members.
In the meantime, you guys all have a blast and take plenty of pictures!

I might sneak down into the lobby area of the showroom the night before I attend, to see whom I can find. Unfortunately though, I've booked my schedule for this trip very tight (since it's a birthday present for my uncle) and am uncertain as to whether or not I will be able to attend any kind of offical get together.
One thing worth mentioning for a sight to see: if you go to the New York, New York Hotel and Casino - there is an Ice Cream Parlor with different posters of broadway musicals as wallpaper.... Jerry in Damn Yankees Appears on that wall paper.

Speaking of Mrs. Davis, I met her in 1998 at the Sinatra Conference at Hofstra on Long Island and she is just a wonderful and classy lady. MK
It looks like we will be seeing him almost 60 years from the time Martin and Lewis became a team and 50 years since they broke up!! Wow time flies. I remember watching him host the Tonight Show in 74 and he said 'it was 18 years ago this week that the Martin and Lewis team broke up'. Now its 50 years! Boy do I feel old.

Well you guys had all weekend. Anyone else able to order their tickets? Thea? Jose? The cost isn't too bad if you go for 1 show. I'm the stupid one and have to go to every show. For me, with the room, the shows, and airfare is somewhere around $1500.00, but it's a vacation and of course that doesn't include food or anything else. For travel and one show and one night in the room it has to be under $1000, depending on where your coming from of course. I guess from London, that's probably just the airfare.

We all would love to share the stage with him even if it were just for a few moments. My biggest thrill would be just to introduce him, shake his hand and get the regular JL hug and kiss on cheek.

For those going to the show, try to check out Ron Lee's World of Clowns in Henderson. He is the artist that did all the Jerry clown statuettes. Of course Ron and Jerry had a fight and they aren't speaking to each other (what else is new). But I am going to try to get out there to see if he has anything on display.
