[B ]I am posting this so if anyone is in the area at the time she's making these
Book Signings apperances and or Personal Apperances maybe they will be lucky enough to meet Deanna Martin in person and get they're book signed or see her perform in person.[/B]

I'm going to the Feb. 25th book signing. The book store on 92nd and S. Dixie is 10 minutes away from my office. I'm very excited.

Dancer,

Nice to here you are going to the book signing in Miami, Fl.

I am thinking of driving the two hour trip to Sarasota,Fl to go to the book signing on Feb 19 at Borders Books.
She will be there from 2pm to 4pm. I have comfirmed this with the bookstore.

Altovise Davis called me last night from New York and said that she has wanted to hook up with Ms, Martin when she is appearing March 14 at the Van Wezel Theater to do a performance there. This will be in Sarsota, Fl where Alto now lives.

She wants to talk with her about doing a new DVD on Sammy that she has been working on and trying to promote.

She has been talking I know to a lot of celebrities including wanting to talk with Tony Bennett and has a call into Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme so they could narrate the DVD as well. Don't know if she plans to ask JL as well nothing was said about it as of yet.

IF IT WOULD BE ALLOWED HERE I WOULD LIKE TO POST SOME SHARED NICE PICTURES OF ME AND ALTOVISE AND JL AND SOME OF THE EVENTS I HAVE BEEN TO OR ARE GOING TOO.

NEED HELP THOUGH IF ANYONE HERE COULD TELL ME HOW TO SCAN AND UPLOAD THEM TO THIS SITE IT WOULD BE OF HELP.?

Annie, at the bottom of the dialog box where you type in your post (after the Post Options and Post Icons sections) is a button that says "Browse...". From there, you can open any file stored on your computer, then click on "Add This Attachment." That should do it.

All,

Just a short note here to say that I did go to the book signing for Deana Martin.

I am sorry to say that I wasn't there on time to see how many people showed up as I got there after 4 pm. It took me over 2 hrs to get to Sarasota, Fl from where I live.

But It wasn't a total loss , I thought I had missed Ms. Martin and when I got to the book store I ask if she had left and to my surprise I find out she was in the back of the store having her late lunch.

I told the clerk that I needed to see her on a personal matter and the clerk just went and got her.

I recognized her right away.
What a very pretty lady she is and very nice to and has such a warm smile.

She sit down with me for about five minutes or so on the store bench and I gave her the message I had for her from Mrs. Davis.
Also, I was able to do some Finders Assets business with her.
My company and I have found some very nice monies that belongs to her dad
Dean Martin which she confrimed with me today and I will be able to help her collect it.

She was also very kind and signed my book: she wrote in it the following message to me:

To Margaret Ann Wtih Much Love and Laughter always
Deana Martin.

I will cherish this always.

Looks like I maybe doing any other Tony Bennett type dinner with Ms. Martin when she come back to Florida on March 14, 2005 .

When she is preforming at the Van Wenzel Therater there and she suggested that she and Mrs. Davis and I get together for dinner before the show.
I told her that was what we where doing with Tony Bennett and she thought that it was a great idea. So We shall see.

P.S. I have taken some pictures this time and when I get them developed I will share them here with you on this fans site..

Hi everyone. I'm home from the book signing. What a fantastic night! Deana was extremely nice. She told a bunch of great stories and spoke very highly about Jerry. I did mention to her about the DVD set with Dean's songs missing. She wants me to email her the contact information and she what the deal is. I don't know if anything will get done but it's worth a try.

It's wonderful that two of our members actually got to talk to Ms. Martin.

Dana, let us know what you hear from her about the DVDs. I'm surprised she doesn't already know what is and isn't on them.

Boo and all here,

Sorry I have NOT been able to get to posting the Photo's here.

I have been very ill the last week or so.

Down with Bronchitis and severe throat and ear infections.

Doctor would not even let me on the computer so I have been in bed.

Last night was first time out of house in 2weeks was able to go to see Deana Martin's show.

WOW what a show it was!

Fred Travalena was on the bill along with Deana Martin singing and film clips of her and her dad Dean Martin singer together and her sing on stage along with Dean on film clips.

The biggest moments in the show was when she showed clips of Jerry Lewis and her dad Dean Martin going they're act together and when she was singing with Sammy Davis jr. and Her singing with Frank Sintara Sr and Jr.

I had a really hard time watch it, I was crying through most of it. Brought back lots of memory.
Also You all should check out this wonderful guy Tenor MICHAEL AMANTE

WHAT A VOICE!

YOU WILL LOVE LISTENING TO HIM. HE DOES HAVE A CD OUT AND I HOPE ALL HERE WILL GET IT.
HE SINGS OPERA, POP AND GOSSPEL AND ITALIAN SONGS:

I AM HOPING TO SEE HIM ON THE NEXT MDA TELETHON: WHAT A SHOW STOPPER HE WOULD BE:

I am feeling a bit better and will try to get the film developed and post the pictures
